Deacons

Acts 20:28

“Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.”

King James Version (KJV):

The ministry of deacon as set forth in Scripture is one of compassion, witness, and service. Deacons as elected by the congregation, are persons of spiritual character, honest repute, exemplary lives, brotherly and sisterly love, sincere compassion, and sound judgment.
